ARIZONA YOUTH BASEBALL

The Arizona Youth Baseball Program (AYB) is the designated charity of the Arizona Major League Alumni (AZMLA). AYB promotes the game of baseball in Arizona, specifically by teaching good sportsmanship and skills of the game through organized clinics. With Corporate Partners, APS's Power Players Program and the Arizona Diamondbacks, AYB conducts more than 16 youth clinics throughout Arizona and makes generous contributions to many worthwhile youth oriented programs.

ALL-STAR CLINIC PROGRAM

T
he Arizona Major League Alumni will continue for the 18th year the APS All-Star Clinic program.  The AZMLA will be conducting 16 clinics throughout the state at various locations.  (See Events Schedule)

While the primary objective is instructing the finer points of playing baseball to our youth, this forum provides the opportunity to teach life skills.  Emphasis is centered on attitude, education, commitment and the perils of alcohol and drug abuse.

The APS All-Star Clinic program has also reached out to the Seniors Softball League in the Sun City area.  This league has over 750 participating players.  Instruction, fellowship and sharing ideas are very fulfilling as you experience the joy that these seniors receive.

The Arizona Major League Alumni (AZMLA) is a 501c3 non-profit organization that raises funds to support important local charities, educates youth through positive sport images and promotes baseball by involving former Major League players in community activities.

Arizona Youth Baseball (AYB) the designated charity of the AZMLA promotes the game of baseball in the state of Arizona specifically by teaching good sportsmanship and baseball to the youth of Arizona through organized clinics and instruction.  A strong emphasis is dedicated to teaching life skills of hard work, commitment, attitude, respect and education.  We desire that the youth of Arizona become good citizens and lead successful lives.  The AZMLA activities are marketed and coordinated by former Major League players.

The AZMLA has been hosting these clinics for over 30 years and last year 18 clinics impacted over 700 participants.  We plan on adding several more clinics this year as funds permit.  Our operating expense is approximately $1,500.00 per clinic that includes equipment, fields, coach’s stipends, insurance etc.

We need your support and donation to continue this program this year and beyond.
